Bespoke means custom-made and ‘to speak for something’

A bespoke approach to agile and project management highlights people over ritual: People want to do what they enjoy at work, and not get mired down by process… However, there’s a balance - most people will take on a few extra well-defined tasks in their day - if doing so demonstrably leads to more predictable product development and delivery.

The foundation of agile is distributed collaboration. Modern Agile provides a template and framework for this approach. However, when we use individual perspectives to evolve and strengthen how we work together, people gain trust in the system, stakeholders gain transparency into product delivery schedules, and better project planning leads to better business outcomes.

A personalized and adaptive approach to both agile and project management encourages wider adoption of best practices and leads towards a happier company culture. This site is an ‘open science’ project to discuss successes, failures, and lessons learned; and to iteratively improve how we all can work together.
